Advocacy in Gwent – Network Lunch - 01/05/2024

11:00
13:00

Advocacy services support people to express their views and wishes and help them to stand up for their rights. Advocacy services and the advocates they employ work in partnership with the people they support and take their side.

Our Advocacy Network Lunch is for those who provide preventative services and support, as well as carers, third sector organisations and wellbeing networks across Gwent. Our aim is to help more adults understand how to access advocacy services to help them express their views, wishes and concerns when decisions are being made that might affect them.

The event will also provide the opportunity to network with other public facing practitioners and carers across Gwent as well as a free buffet lunch!

Booking a Place Simply e-mail: Chris.Hooper@Torfaen.gov.uk to secure a place.

Please state your name, the organisation you work for/represent and your e-mail address in the correspondence as well as any special dietary requirements you may have.

This event is limited to 30 places which will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
